With something to see and do for everybody, Cedar Point is a wonderful place for a family outing. Director of Public Relations, Robin Innes, explains that the amusement park has four special areas dedicated for young families. “We’ve got Planet Snoopy, we’ve got Camp Snoopy, we’ve got the Gemini Children’s Area and then we also have Kiddy Kingdom, so there’s a lot of different ride areas for them.” In addition to the rides, there are a number of different live shows and special attractions to enjoy, providing a full day of non-stop entertainment for the whole family. Kiddy Kingdom: One of the oldest children’s areas at Cedar Point is Kiddy Kingdom. This section, dedicated exclusively to families with young children has more than a dozen children’s rides as well as the Kiddy Kingdom Carousel and mini water ride Sir Rub-A-Dub’s Tubs, both of which can be enjoyed by all ages. Roller coasters: Cedar Point has more roller coasters than any other park in the whole world — 17 to be exact. And though the park is most well known for some of the tallest and fastest roller coasters, Cedar Point also has coasters more appropriate for the younger guests. At the Gemini Children’s Area first-time roller coaster riders will be thrilled with the Jr. Gemini. Standing 20 feet tall, the coaster goes about 10 miles an hour.
